In a new effort to help protect consumers and businesses from being exposed to the latest cyberthreats, BitDefender is offering to sell an Antivirve Suite to those who want to secure their devices against malware.
The software, which BitDefend calls the Antiviral Suite, includes a firewall, antivirus protection, a security sandbox, a virus scanning service, a browser fingerprinting service, and a security audit tool.
For those who are worried about their devices being infected, Bitdefender’s AntiviVe Suite will offer an optional VPN for a limited time.
Users who opt for this option will be given a limited number of antivirus apps to install.
The AntiviriVe Suite comes in three different editions: Antivira (free), Antiviar (free, no ads), and Antivivirus Plus ($49.99, $99.99).
AntivIRve Plus comes with an additional suite of security services that includes a fingerprint scanner, a firewall-protection tool, a malware scanner, and an anti-virus solution that BitDefence says will provide “the most complete antivirus solution for a secure online environment.”
“Antivirves protect you and your company against viruses, malware, and spyware by automatically detecting and removing any malicious files and files that can infect a device, and then protecting your devices by blocking any suspicious apps and applications that may be installed on the device,” BitDefenders blog post reads.
