Bitdefend VPN is a VPN service that aims to make the internet of things (IoT) more secure.
It offers an API for developers to make IoT apps using the platform and it is now working with Huawei and other major internet of thing companies to provide VPN access to its devices.
The VPN, called Bitdefence Box, is currently available for the Apple iPhone, iPad and Android devices.
The service works with Bitdefense, which owns and operates several other VPN services.
It is now partnering with Huawei to offer a similar service for Android devices, and it will be able to do so for iOS devices too.
In an interview with TechCrunch, Bitdefy founder and CEO David Dziedzic said that the company was aiming to provide a service for IoT and would make it available for “everyone”.
“We are also working with a few other partners to provide Bitdefie Box for IoT users,” he said.
“They can use it with any internet of devices and connect to the VPN.”
The Bitdefenstication Box is currently free for existing Bitdefiples users.
The service is currently being offered in the US, and will soon be available in Australia and New Zealand.
The VPN is compatible with all existing VPN services, so existing VPN customers should be able for example connect to their existing BitDefie Box, and the service will work for new users.
