Huawei and Huawei-branded devices are now part of the Huawei IoT Alliance, which includes the likes of DHL, DIGIT and Lenovo, according to an article published on TechRadar.
Huawei and Huawei announced the partnership at the IFA 2017 event in Berlin on September 10, 2017.
In addition to these partnerships, Huawei has already announced partnerships with DIGITS, DHL and Lenovo to bring IoT to more markets.
Huawei-branded IoT devices are expected to hit the market by 2021, with the first Huawei IoT device to hit store shelves in 2021 expected to be a Huawei-brand device.
The Huawei-DIGIT IoT Alliance will also include other OEMs including Acer, Asus, Acer Cloud, Belkin, Belky, Bose, Bumblebee, CyberPower, Dell, Digitech, Gigabyte, Lenovo, MSI, NXP, Panasonic, QNAP, SanDisk, Smart Power, and Toshiba.
